Nikki and Becky you two are basically the most AMAZING young women I have ever met and Becky you can not go anti-love and Nikki...boys are stupid...that is why I married a MAN. HAHAHAHA I couldn't resist that sorry, but you both so totally know that Derek is a BEAST *rawr*. Anyways I totally know that you two are going through some stuff right now and that it seems like you are going to get older and older without a man by your side and that you will never get to feel the wonderfullness of having a life growing inside of you, but you can't actually BELIEVE that you won't ever find a guy because than it might actually happen *gasp* and we don't want that...EVER!!!! I want to see little Nikkis and Beckys running around like you are going to see a little Jess in nine months (or a little Derek depending).
To the reading population in general. You CAN'T let some stupid boys ruin your life. Who needs them?! You are a beautiful daughter of our Heavenly Father and do you really think he wants you dating those losers anyways? NO WAY! No female will ever find a guy or be found unless she learns to love herself. If you don't believe you are worth it no guy will ever believe it. You have to show them that you don't need a guy to be happy. What guy wants to go out with a girl who doesn't know what to do with herself when she is single? I know if I was a guy I would want someone full of confidence in themselves....and also someone who cooks because there is no way I would be the sole cooker in the family. Sheesh who do they think they are marrying? A servant?! I don't think so!
Be confident and find that inner peace. For those of you who are single or sort of single because things with that guy are basically sketchy I highly recommend taking some time to focus on yourself. What do YOU want to do with your life? What are your likes and dislikes? Have you ever gone to a movie and dinner by yourself? Have you ever done anything major by yourself? I once saw this guy at Disneyland and he was there BY HIMSELF! He told me he has done it for years and he is married and has 3 kids all grown up. He started when he was in college. Met his wife at Disneyland actually....well anyways the point is there is a world out there that you can enjoy as a single person...and without friends tagging along. Just because your friends can't do something doesn't mean you can't!!!
Okay the sermon is over! I am off to class now.
Loves and Fluffs,
Jess

Wow Jess thanks for that, seriously! I've always seemed to be the kind of person who won't ever do things that I REALLY want to do because I don't have friends right there doing it along with me. I've held myself back from a lot of fun things and even some learning experiences just because I didn't want to do it alone. I've been waiting for a missionary for the past 15 months and I'm SO grateful for this time I've had to myself because I've been able to get to know myself better, find the things I'm good at, the things I love and enjoy doing, and FINALLY do them for myself regardless if I have a friend or two with me or not! It really is a great thing to become your own best friend and I'm sure that once my other half comes home he'll enjoy my company more than before because I've grown into my skin, and heck, I enjoy my OWN company more these days!! Lol. :)
