Our Apologies

So I am at my mom's house right now and I popped on to read what Nikki wrote because she is lame and doesn't like to repeat things so anyways I got on and there was a comment written by Melanie saying she thinks this blog is written by one person. Well Melanie I do hate to rain on your parade, but this blog is in fact written by three different people. If the writing styles seem similar it is because they are in fact similar. Nikki was smart when she chose who to invite to write the blog, see she is always making people think twice and she knew that by adding the two people who write very similar to her that the readers would not be sure whether it was one person or not.

...You have no idea how excited you are making Nikki. Personally we can write in different styles, but when we went into this blog we decided on several things.
1. We would TRY to be as anonymous as possible although I am pretty sure we fail at that because once you figure out who one of us is you will find out the rest.
2. We wanted to write similarly because it would throw people off to whether this blog is valid or not
3. We want honesty...but to a point. We aren't going to spin yarns about things, but we also will omit some of the more personal details about our lives as they are happening.

There are other things but the main point I am trying to get across is that we are in fact three seperate people and we do in fact write on this blog. Now if you all want different writing styles we can relax the rules for you all since apparently Nikki's twisted plan has been working. Sorry if any of you thought we three were in fact just one!

Laters My Gators,
Becky

P.S- Melanie thanks for saying our blog is cute!

You're very welcome! :)

And I definitely know what you mean about wanting to keep it anonymous. I am actually one of the authors of an anonymous blog too, so we deal with that same issue as well. However, we decided that we wanted to retain our personal writing styles (for the most part) because it was just plain easier that way, which made our posts better since they were more natural. To maintain anonymity, we just changed details/names/other identifying info since our real writing style behind a nom de plume wouldn't give us away. As I'm sure you know, Melanie isn't even my real name, although it isn't too far off. :)

Dang, am I rambling! But those are just some of my scrambled thoughts, that are probably irrelevant and completely pointless, but there ya go. :) Good luck with the blog! And with the life of a single lady in general. Believe me, I know it is tough!
