Okay so here is how it allwent down and I have Becky to help me with the details I didn't really know about!
So on Christmas Day I went over to my Family's house to spend some time with them unwrapping gifts and eating Christmas Dinner, but Mr. Incredible came with me. Now I guess at ome point I was in the bathroom and my told my parents his intentions....no he didn't ask... he told them he was going to ask me to marry him. Now I when I found that out it made more sense as to why my family ignored him the rest of our stay, but at the time I though they just decided to be rude.
Anyways Saturday came around and He said he needed to go into Vegas and get some souveniers for his family because apparently his mom had told him to get her something special. Derek took him down as well as Papa Brinton (Jess's Dad) and they went Ring shopping and they were texting Becky and Jess pictures of options and they all decided on the ring together! All the while I am sitting there in Sherlock Holmes trying to figure outwhy my two best friends are ignoring Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. so rudely! The guys didn't get home til late so we all had dinner seperately, but we waited for them all to have Scriptures and Family Prayer. Mama Brinton went and was reading scriptures about love and marriage and than Derek said this prayer about opening our hearts to love. I looked over at Mr. Incredible all mortified because I knew somehow they were talking to us and all he did was shrug at me!
That Sunday we had gone to the Single's branch and than later to Branch Prayer. Normally the chairs are in a circle, but Becky and Jess called the Branch President and asked him to set it up in the shape of a heart.
Yeah we walked in and I started laughing at how the Branch Presidency was trying to get a message of dating and love across to the Branch...well jokes on me!
Before the prayer President went and said that he had very special announcement to make. He put his next phrase like this "One of our friends here is getting engaged in just a few moments. She doesn't know yet, but I thought I would just let you all know to prepare yourselves for whatever may happen." Now everyone started looking around at all the couples in the room trying to figure out what was happening. I turned to Becky and I noticed her not sitting but by the light swich and she was busting up laughing. Before I could say anything she yells out
"NOBODY MOVE!"
and rudely turns off the lights. The odd thing about me is that I really dislike the dark so naturally I froze solid and suddenly next to me there was something glowing. Turns ot Mr. Incredible had snuck in Glow Sticks and he cracked them, grabbed me, led me to the middle of the heart (well the glowsticks President had in his pocket indicated the middle), and than yelled
"TURN 'EM ON BECKY!"
Needless to say when the lights came on he was on one knee in front of me and everyone started busting up laughing at my face which was apparently super red. Anyways I said yes and than the Prayer was said and we all had the standard branch prayer treats.
All in all I really think it was brilliant and am just so happy to be marrying him. I can honestly say I love him and I am confident that Heavenly Father approves. I used to sit and wonder about if I was ever going to get married and I would always say I would never marry someone who I hadn't dated for a long time. Now I am one of those girls who meets a guy and gets engaged like shortly after. heck we've been on less than five dates, but I love his family and he loves my adopted family!
Oh and his mom totally loves how he got her a new daughter for Christmas, oh yes, she does!
Well there you have it. You can choose to believe or not, but I know that this is right and I couldn't be more ecstatic!

Holy Elopement!

Yeah way to go you two for completely deciding to do that and not even bother to tell me! But than again I guess that defeats the whole purpose of eloping. Hey random question. Is it possible o elope to a Temple? Like....nevermind that sounds dumb even as I was typing it.
Anyways I just got a call from Phil and this is how the conversation went.
*ring* (oh yes I am being accurate)
Me: Hello?
Phil: Nikki I am sorry to do this to you, but I am going to need you to sop planning the wedding.
Me: Oh what Phil? You get cold feet....again?
*riotous laughter from Becky and I because we found it clever*
Phil: No I did not. Would you stop laughing long enough for me to explain what happened? It is kind of important that you know this since Alexis is going to be relying on you girls to help her.
Me: SHE'S PREGNANT?! Phil you dog!
Phil: Oh for crying out loud it isn't that! You always assume the worst without giving anyone a cha-
*Insert Alexis taking phone*
Alexis: We got married Nikki!!!! It was Phil's idea and I went with it! My family was getting mad because they weren't going to be able to be in the Temple and you know how stressed I was getting. We plan to gt sealed, but like in a year or so once the initial shock wears off.
*stunned silence*
Alexis: Hello?....Nikki?....HELLOOOOOOO?! Phil I think she hung up!Me: No I am here...just...uh....yeah
*Insert Becky rudely grabing my phone*
Becky: CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! I am happy for you both...we BOTH are happy! and than the two of them were chatting on and on about how exciting and blah blah blah. Luckily Mr. Incredible walked into the room and reminded me of what I was going to be posting originally before Phil and Alexis went and totally one upped me.
*ahem*
I am getting married
Tis true and no joke I am legitimately engaged, with a ring and everything. Kinda crazy really and I still can't get over that fact, but yep for sure enough I am getting married to that an for time and all eternity. We don't have a date set yet, but we both are getting the feeling that June is going to be the month. He will be on Break by then and I will have settled some things that I need to get settled with my family and other stuff. BUT I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

Some Things About Us

So basically the three of us are spread out, but we all consider Nevada our numero uno place to live and visit. I am living in Orem, UT but Derek says it is Provo, but I like to think of it as the Borderlands since we ride the line. Becky is up in Rexburg learning herself at BYU-I (do) HAHAHAHA LOVE that joke!!!! Nikki on the other hand is busy bouncing from place to place wherever the wind stinking blows her. Currently she is residing at our parent's house. When I say our parents I mean MY parents house, but since we adopted Nikki unofficially and what not she is totally with family. Now we aren't really sure about letting people know who we are really because first we do have live and we prefer to keep them to the level of drama they are at....which is A LOT!
Well ANYWAYS I just got home from Christmas Vacation with my family and I could not be more happier to have spent SO MUCH time with them all! I got to talk to one of my brothers who is on his mission and than it seems like EVERYONE bought me some kind of baby clothes! Nikki and Becky though got Derek and I a board game!!!!!!!! I loves them for it because it was nice to get something NOT for my unborn child and actually for me. I don't care HOW selfish that sounds! See Nikki totally got....something amazing AND BOTH of her missionaries came to see her and give her the ultimate gift of a CTR ring...well ONE of the ultimate gifts hahaha...THAN Becky gets one of Nikki's Missionaries for Christmas! And all i got was baby clothes! BLAST!!! My mom was laughing at me for it and teasing me saying that now I am married I don't get awesome Christmas Presents like Guys all wrapped up anymore.
....little does she know that Derek is my wrapped up gift....that keeps on giving! NAUGHTY!
So a bit of advice people....when you get married....don't give your spouse what they NEED exactly unless it is something they WANT. Example: The Hubby got me a new phone because I wanted and needed a new one instead of the piece of junk I had been using. One of my married brothers got his wife new sheets because they needed them....although she didn't necessarily want them. See what I am saying? You gotta find the even between the two like my wonderful husband did. Sometimes you can do two gifts, like the sheets would have worked if he had gotten her something else like some jewelry or some cute pjs or whatever she would have liked! Girls the same applies to you.
USE YOUR HEADS PEOPLE!!!

So That Was Cool
Well so basically I have to apologize for everything with us not really posting and not really being on top of things. We were trying to have this orde of who posts when, but I am pretty sure it is now a free for all and an orgy of posting whenever we want, of course after I post this up. All of us are here together with our families celebrating Christmas. Of course we have a few extras as in, Mr. Incredible and Jess's unborn nub of a human being, but there is also someone else here whom none of us had even planned on. Well actually it is two someones.
The missionaries who taught and baptized Nikki are here! Of course they aren't missionaries anymore, but still they are here and let me tell you they are still as handsome as they were when they were misisonaries. I am not one to go around drooling over Elders, but those two made me blush just by being in the same room as me! Anyways I have been stuck by the two of them at ever function so far. Birk Mayson and Chris Donali are their names, but we just use their last names since they tend to not respond to their first names for some reason. Anyways Mayson has this girlfriend that he brought along so it has been Donali and I talking this whole time and it turns out he is a pretty interesting guy. His family is originally from Italy (on his mom's side) and he is afraid of ducks, but has no problems with geese. Yeah I remember the important stuff. But the coolest thing about him is that he bought Nikki a CTR Ring! Well he and Mayson did together. Forever after she gets baptized they go and buy her a nice CTR ring for Christmas and than plan this trip to meet up and than come and surprise her! She has become really close friends with both of them so it was just a beautiful moment when they were reunited.
I told Donali that Nikki was taken and he looked at me and said,"Well what about you?" Just like that he comes right out and asks me! My jaw just about dropped, but since we are all going to be here for a few more days or so I decided to go on a date with him. Turns out he is up in Rexburg as well so who knows what will happen.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas! Top Gift of today was this picture of Christ and this little girl in a garden that my mom got and framed for me for my apartment!
Laters my Gators,
Becky

Oh Mr. Incredible

Anyways like I said I have been praying and I have decided.....
......I honestly...AAGH! Becky isn't here to type out what I am trying to say like she would normally do when I myself can't do it so now I end up rambling and beating around the bush trying to ignore the fact that it is there without completely removing it from my sight!
Let us just say that perhaps the answer I have been recieving loud and clear has been really really really positive, like Heavenly Father is saying "GET ON THAT" but in a nicer and more sophisticated kind of way. Personally I don't think He would ever yell that to anyone. If I am wrong He will surely let me know after I have been twinkled.
I sometimes think about how other girls go through this process of praying and such. I haven't been a member for very long really and all the other girls in the ward seem to have this whole finding a guy thing down pat! I mean one girl got engaged after one week of dating and they ahve been happily married for a few years now. How does that happen? I am scared of moving too slow and moving too fast. How are we supposed to know the right speed? How are we supposed to know that we can marry a guy after only dating for one week or even a few years? Yes I do know that prayer has a lot to do with it, but how does one really truly know?
Jess says that she knew Derek was the one because when she met him she got this feeling like he was what had been missing her whole life. I get that feeling when I see one of those extra large Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in the gas station! To be completely honest here, which is kinda the whole point of this blog, I do feel that way about Mr. Incredible. I know I haven't really known him that long, but in that short amount of time I have been happier than any other time in my life, second to my baptism of course.
This is what scares me. What if I am actually falling for him? Can I really afford to give my heart out again? Seeing Phil and Alexis a lot has really put things into perspective for me. I was once in Alexis' shoes, planning a wedding and everything with Phil and I was happy and content, but I didn't feel like I do now just merely considering a relationship with Mr. Incredible. My head is all turned around right now, but all I know is that tomorrow when Becky comes down she is bringing me one big Christmas Present that I definitely plan on opening before Christmas.

Nikki

What a JERKFACE!
I am most unhappy people. Some BUTT scratched my car when I was grocery shopping and they didn't leave ANY kind of apology or insurance info or NOTHING!
This happened a little while ago and I am NOW just getting to it...LAME! I feel like I haven't written a post in FOREVER which I know is true because Nikki called me and was like "Uh Jess....you are kinda holding up the blog with not posting...get with it woman!"
Rude Nikki...just R-U-D-E!!!!
Perhaps you should know that I am busy up here in the frozen tundra of Northern Utah preparing to come home to visit for Christmas and MAYBE just maybe I am busy trying to find your Christmas gift...now what do you say to that?! PSH! Tell me to get with it....you and your schedules are most likely why you are still sort of single....not counting Mr. Incredible yet seeing as he hasn't asked any crucial questions outside of asking you to pray. Any guy can do that you know! OH! So Derek wants to write something to you all...
HEY EVERYONE! I thought I would add this note that my wife is amazing. I know it is weird that she is married and on this blog, but I told her that when the other two girls get married that the title will have to change soon enough. Jess is off packing right now and she told me that I "had" to write something, but I tried to explain that people wouldn't really know if it was me or her typing. Obviously the woman doesn't really care what you all are going to think about who is writing this or not because here I am pasisng the time...okay so I should probably write something informative or useful on this thing instead of rambling.
Well this time of year Christmas is on the brain. Most of the time I tend to forget what Christmas is really about because I get so wrapped up in the idea of presents and the stresses that often come with the holiday. In reality though this is one of the times of the year where I should be more relaxed and joyful. Christ was born on Christmas Day. He came for us to show us the way back to our Heavenly Father. Think about it. Our big brother came to help us all out and to set the ultimate example, and instead of fully appreciating the time He came we all run around with greedy little thoughts about what we want for Christmas and seieng if we can outgift those around us! Okay not everyone does that, but mainly it is the people who are attempting to take Christ out of the season!!
Hey all thanks for being supportive of the girls..I would be saying more but Jess is back now and she wants the computer. She says I am pumping too much testosterone into the blog already and I haven't been here for five minutes. Merry Christmas everyone!
~Derek
Don't you just LOVE him?! That's right I get that EVERYDAY! HAHAHA He is a funny guy and can be a little........waaaaaaay into things. Don't EVER get him started on the "perfect" pizza as he calls it. We literally talked for like an hour one time about it....that is an hour I am NEVER getting back people! Anyways I have GOT to get back to packing for our trip. We are leaving for Nevada on Friday after he gets off of work. I am SO excited to be going back and seeing my girls and my family!
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!
Loves and Fluffs,
Jess

My Wedding..the basics
FLOWERS: Anything Purple Really because I want kinda just a wide variety of flowers. I like them all!
CAKE: Vanilla flavored with strawberry ganoche and a minty flavored fondant on the outside with sugar butterflies decorating it. INVITATIONS: See picture because it shows what I want
CENTERPIECES: Purple Flowers surrounded by white in a small and uncomplicated centerpiece.
DECORATIONS: Purple table cloths with white underneath to hide the ugly table legs. Soft lighting coming from candles (because I don't want a church hall reception) and string lights. Pictures of the couple splattered about the room.
FLOWERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CENTERPIECES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CAKE!!!
DECORATIONS!!!!!
INVITATIONS!!!!!!!!
Now For my next section it will be more like the hair and the dress and whatnot....I probably should go into more detail with everything, but I want to get an example up for everyone. Nikki and Jess will be doing better examples since they actually have planned weddings before.
HAIR!
SHOES!
VEIL and TIARA!!
THE DRESS!!!!
THE GARTER ;)!!!
Now this is Kind of what we are looking for...I did this in one day people...imagine what you can come up with in the time we have set out for you all!!! Like I said Jess and Nikki will be doing better detailed ones and I am pretty sure that Jess said she would most likely make my wedding over since she figured I would basically just do the basics hahaha. I have always banked on one of them planning my wedding for me lol so I can actually now kinda see what they would be doing in finding inspiration. Go out there and show us what you got!

Yay For Contests!
Who has got an awesome excitement for the contest?! I DO!!!!!!! Okay so let me refresh everyone's memory for those of you who aren't our friend on facebook.
1. You have until January , 2010 at midnight to plan an entire wedding.
2. You MUST post it either on facebook or on a blog. (We will be providing EXAMPLES so stay tuned)
3. You absolutely HAVE to be include everything from the flavor of the cake down to what the garter will look like. (guys you too!)
4. You NEED to let us know once it is all posted and done (early submissions are way welcomed)
Okay so basically the three of us would rather SHOW you all how it is done rather than TELL so really while I am posting this Becky is working on her wedding which will either be up tonight or tomorrow so keep an eye out for that okay???
OH! And the three of us will be picking our favorite so there will be three winners while the rest of you will not necessarily lose. As Nikki puts it...you will at least have an entire wedding planned for the future! Now for any guys doing this....think of this as insite into what we ladies have to go through when planning it. When it is your turn to get married you will maybe feel a bit more considerate in helping your lovely out yeah?
So I am going to tell you people that I think having anti-nausea medicine that has a side effect of nauseousness and vomiting is plain wrong. Nadia (one of our readers) told me about her pregnant friend having that problem and all I have to say is that I had morning sickness that bad and my medicine made it worse me and my unborn child would kick some doctor butt! Okay well Derek and I are going to watch "So I Married An Axe Murderer" and eat pizza!

WEDDING UPDATE
Well we all know Phil is getting married and I (Nikki) was asked to do flowers, but as it turns out I basically had a wedidng planned out (mine and Phil's) and I decided to be awesome as heck and let Alexis and Phil have the wedding I planned so now I ended up in charge of the whole thing because the girl has not a single planning bone in her body. Now I love planning things and being in charge and especially getting to be creative. Now I was told not to worry about money because apparently it is not an object to worry about so I have free reign!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!! Talk about exciting! Becky and Jess basically think that Phil and Aleixs have no idea what they have done asking me to take care of it for them. Now I am going to be posting pics of general ideas that have been approved. I am excited because I am thrifty and have found cheap kinda things for them and ideas since really I don't want to be rude and spend a bunch of money on a wedding that isn't mine.
The wedding colors are Blue and Green so that will be the theme here.
The Bouquet options:
The Floral Ideas
(in green and blue of course)
The reception Idea...we really like this layout. In their colors of course.
Alexis really likes the Pomander theme and quite frankly so do I...it isn't typical and it is easy to keep if you use silk flowers. Anyways we were thinking of hanging these from the ceilings with lights in them for the lighting as shown in the below picture.
and now my favorite part CAKES!!!! (We each chose one that we liked. I chose the second one, Alexis the first, and Phil the third)
Well that is all for now since that is a whole lot to digest...okay maybe so I am just weddinged out for today and I need to go to sleep to get up early tomorrow to go christmas shopping and jobbing. Anyways Hope you all enjoy and I will be posting more ideas later like invitations and what not. Nite all!
Love, peace, and chicken grease,
Nikki

Updated blogginess
Since my being maimed a few weeks ago I basically have no life and can't move around much so what did I get to do today??? I got to fix up the blog and make it all Christmas like! Yay for me! Took me forever to finally decide on what to leave it as and as a result I am up late as usual writing a post. Today was fairly intruiging with watching the First Presidency Christmas Devotional and hearing what the Prophet had to say. I love being able to watch it on the tv or online, which in my case it was online, because towards the end my family invited me to dinner and I had to pause it and go eat. So glad I didn't miss anything. Was it just me or did they really stress the point in finding the love of Christ for others? Also they told us to stop being so darn distracted and start finding the spirit of Christmas which is actually the Spirit of Christ. Nifty huh? Helping Jess's family get ready for "Mr. Incredible" is really tough because the room he is staying in is upstairs and seeing as I can barely manage to walk I am downstairs a whole lot.
I should probably explain to everyone why I am not at work and haven't been working, well besides my injuries. Well see they said I could ahve my job back you know? But I actually ended up quitting. Yeah my boss is nice and so is my supervisor but there is this creep at work who is always being inappropriate. now most people would fire him but noooo he happens to be my boss' nephew! Yeah so I just told them that I had enough and since they weren't going to fix him I was leaving. Luckily for me I have been saving up a ton of money and I also am really cheap and I don't spend a lot. I am at Jess' parents' house because they basically demanded I needed to come with them during this hard time. I am not a freeloader by nature so I have been trying to help out as much as possible...mainly by cooking and cleaning which helps me not feel guilty. So there you all have it. I am currently jobless. Tis a sad day my friends but I am hoping my joblessness will be ended soon.
Anyways back to the important stuff. I am back in the old single's branch out here and let me tell you it is depressing beyond all belief. Everyone I used to hang out with is either on a mission or getting married or already married or plain just not here. These new people are not very fun and they don't seem to appreciate a good joke in Sunday School. Luckily for me the same branch presidency is there so they are my buddies for now until I am able to get these others to relax. Living in a small town is no fun sometimes when the people in your branch are sticks in the mud and can't have a conversation unless it is going over the list of unavailables and how they are so sick of the valley people and how the dating pool is small even though they have only dated maybe one or two of the available people. Really they won't even go on courtesy dates with those they don't find attractive!
Sometimes I really just want to scream. Oh! I totally ran into Mr. Clean and he was saying how he can't wait for Becky to come to town once school gets out! Mr. Incredible is excited too although I am not going to say what he has been saying because that is strictly between us. One thing I will say though is that he has asked me to pray about "us" and we will be doing that together next sunday because he forgot to ask me to do that for today so lucky us we get two fast sundays in a row. Although I am not really sure what he wants me to pray about exactly other than the standard "Should I date this person?" He said he will call me as Sunday gets closer to tell me more because apparently he has to pray about what he wants me to pray about. Confusing child.
Time flies on the wings of lightning. Another year has gone by and so much has happened. Here's to a Happy Christmas to us all!
Love, Peace, and Chicken Grease,
Nikki

Love, Peace, and Chicken Grease,
Nikki

Busy Productiveness
Today I got the rare chance to actually get some housework done. Derek tries to clean up when he is between work and school and usually I try to as well, but neither of us have had the chance to get some actual work done on the apartment. I managed to do two loads of dishes AND laundry, scrub the bathtub REALLY REALLY HARD, and I cooked a delicious meal that was both nutritional and would make anyone's tummy smile! I also cleaned our bedroom and was able to FINALLY put up some pictures we had framed FOREVER ago!!! Boy was Derek surprised to come home from school to the apartment looking like we just moved in!!!!! I even vaccumed which both Becky and Nikki can testify to how I LOATHE that chore!
So I decided to share my simple dinner recipe with you all seeing as I found it brilliantly wonderful and even NIKKI the grand master cook said it was a good combination!!! SURPRISED I was totally surprised at that. ANYWAYS here it is!
Noodles (it doesn't matter what kind cuz I just grabbed mac and cheese ones)
Turkey (cut into bite sized pieces)
Cream Cheese
Butter
Salt
Pepper
Mrs. Dash spice flakes
Cook the noodles til softy and yummy, add large dollop of butter and sizeable chunk of cream cheese and stir til both are melted completely, add liberal amounts of salt, pepper, and Mrs. Dash, THAN you add the turkey and mix it all together!!! It seriously took less than 15 minutes to make cuz I let the noodles get REALLY soft.
TADA you totally have an amazing meal that you can impress ANYONE with! THink of the versatility! You can substitute the turkey with anything really and still take it to Ward parties with PRIDE! I will even go as far as to say you can impress guys with it and even potential in-laws! FOOD is the answer to everything really. And guys don't leave the cooking just to the girls! I mean really eventually she is not going to always be around and you might find yourself one night without your wife to cooka nd no leftovers to heat up! *gasp* what to do, what to do!
Okay so Derek says I need to also point out that marriage is about TEAMWORK....that although it may be nice to split up the who does what, it is a whole lot easier to help each other out in EVERY task even those that are undesirable...like helping unclog the bathroom sink....
Can someone tell him that pregnant women should not be allowed near the toxic bathroom gases that are leaking out from the murky waters in our bathroom sink? I love him but sometimes I just want to pout angrily at him. Than I remember he is the father of our child AND I am kinda sealed to him FOREVER...*sigh*
Loves and Fluffs,
Jess

Some People's Kids
So As Nikki said in the last post I had to leave tonight ( or this morning depending on where you are) in order to get back home in time for school. My roommates called me before I left for the airport and they said they got one of our FHE brothers to come pick me up from the airport since the one roomie with a car...well her car is actually now dead in the parking lot. So anyways I was totally fine with it because the guy (who we will call Mr. French) is cute, funny, and an RM so no awkwardness of a premie (pre missionary). My plane landed and I turned on my phone and I saw I had a message from him telling me he would meet me by the luggage carousel, since I had checked my bag. I met him down there and Mr. French gave me a warm hug and picked up my bags and led me to his car. As we were driving from Idaho Falls he asked if it would be okay if we went and got something to eat and he even offered to buy so heck yeah I was all for free food! We went to a McDonald's since that was the first place we saw and we both like their fries. He asked me how my week was and I returned the question. Apparently he went to his parent's house just like everyone else (except he didn't have a date with Mr. Clean ;D ) and he listened to my week and was extremely inquisitive as to whether Mr. Clean and I were a current item. Boy was he thrilled when I explained that we weren't. After Dinner he took me over to the Idaho Falls Temple and we were talking how it kinda looks like a Wedding Cake while the Provo Temple looks like a Birthday Cake when he suddenly grabbed my hand and we just kinda kept talking and walking like no big deal. Eventually both of our roommates started calling and texting asking where we were and what not like it was really their business...okay so maybe they thought we were in an accident or something happened, but did they have to keep texting once they found out we were okay?
...whatever...
well we got back into his car and were on our way to Rexburg when he pulled over to the side of the road and he just kinda of professed his feelings for me. His exact words were (and I kid you not) "I like you Becky....I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!" After he yelled "ANYMORE!" and before I could really even think about what just happened he grabbed my face and kissed me and than he stuck his tongue down my throat in this totally disgusting and uninvited kind of way. Talk about rude! That is why he is called Mr. French from now on. That peoples was my first kiss ever and it was not the best to be honest. You can't enjoy it when someone just kind of steals the kiss from you. I completely understand how some girls get mad when guys just take the kiss without even somehow asking for it. Not only did I not really want to kiss him, he wasn't even that great of a kisser! I mean really I should not be able to be going through a checklist of what I packed and what I left behind while a guy is kissing me. Don't get me wrong, I am not one of those girls who dreams up the perfect scenario for the perfect first kiss, but I always kinda imagined I would at least get to choose who I kissed you know?
I obviously didn't kiss him back and he eventually stopped and continued driving and I made sure my hands were out reach and I tried to seem distant or uncomfortable, but he pretty much didn't get the hint because he rested his free hand on my leg and was rubbing his thumb along it. I mean his hand was down by my knee but talk about awkward. He even walked me to my apartment door when he dropped me off even though I insisted that he should go home since my apartment was literally curbside and I didn't need the help. We had one of those awkward one armed hugs, but he still somehow managed to kiss my forehead. My roommates call that last kiss "Marking the Territory" like now I have some kind of "Property of Mr. French" stamp on my forehead only visible to guys who might be interested. I am completely unaware of what to do. Of course I am going to tell him how I feel, but oh my word I have to see him every week for FHE and at basically every activity I go to!! Something tells me he isn't one to get the hint very easily...even if it is dancing naked in front of him. Okay maybe not naked but in a very obvious manner.
On another note Mr. Clean and I are just kinda in the air right now. The date we had was pretty fun. He took me to go golfing in the desert. He painted golf balls with glow in the dark paint and we hit them out into the desert and ate while the sun set than we got to see where they all went once the paint kicked in. It was pretty fun and I have to say that while we didn't kiss or anything it was pretty romantic and we held hands and cuddled together while watching the last rays of the sun disappear. He is an interesting prospect and I will get to see more of him when I go home in three weeks for Christmas Break and the Winter Semester since I don't have school than.
Laters my Gators,
Becky
