So UPDATE!
I, Becky, am sitting in the living room of an incredibly studly guy!!!! Of course you all know him though because if you have read the blog you know who I am talking about! Anyways he invited me to his parent's house to *gasp* meet them! Nikki is here with me since she after all is one of his best friends and she basically told me that if I was getting to go to Chi town that she was going with me. Don't you just love how she invited herself, but it ended up being the best thing?! I am excited because school is starting soon and I was beginning to wonder if anything was going to happen before school began. Chicago is nice...and a whole lot bigger than I thought it would be. The ridiculousness of it all though is that I have been sick this entire time! Yeah Lucky me got Strep Throat when I was in Orem visiting Jess before we flew out to Chicago. Really now people does anyone know how to cough anymore?! I mean you need to actually cover your mouth with something and if you cough into your hands go wash them right away you nasty! You want to know what is even nastier? The medicine they give you to take. It smells like burnt rubber and tastes like death. Yes I am positive that when I die the taste of death will be the same as that disgusting little pill I am forced to take four times a day. *bleh*
I wanted to get on here mainly to talk about a trend I have noticed amongst us Young Single Adults...no one dates anymore. Okay so maybe people do date, but not everyone. What I am talking about though is dating dating...old school rules. Nowadays people get away with texting or facebooking a date request. Really now? You can't call a person up or go ask them in person? You have to use two of the most impersonal ways to ask someone on a date? Also a new disturbing trend I have noticed is that when on said date there is no real "plan". No the guys (or girls) will ask their date WHILE ON THE DATE what they want to do. NO NO NO see when you ask someone out you need to already have it all planned out BEFORE you ask them. That way you can tell them what you are doing if they happen to ask.
Here is an example of a horrid date that just occurred.
Nikki was asked out via facebook by one of Chris' friends (Donali..the guy I am dating...) and of course Chris and I were going to tag along just because it was going to be awkward for Nikki. Anyways Chris told his friend to let him know what the plan was and everything so he could tell us what to prepare for. His friend said it was no problem that he would handle everything. Well he picked us up (this was last night) and immediately asked where we wanted to eat. Now I am fine normally with choosing whatever, but Nikki hates being put on the spot and she hates making those decisions (something about it not being remotely important to her to give any thought to) and Chris was mortified immediately. We finally ended up at Panda Express and dinner went well enough where this friend was forgiven. We all figured he just wanted to make sure we ate somewhere where we actually wanted to eat. Well imagine our surprise when he looks over at Nikki and asks her what she wanted to do. The look on her face (although priceless) sealed the this poor guy's fate. We ended up going home after Panda because Nikki refused to say anything to him and Chris was really embarassed by being in public with his friend.
I sat back and enjoyed that whole scene, and I realize that Nikki probably comes across as snobby and a witch with a capitol "B", but you kind of have to understand that to some girls, expecting them to choose everything on the date that YOU asked them out on is a sign of disrespect. Nikki wouldn't have cared what we did as long as she didn't have to worry about choosing what to do. We have always made it a point to plan everything out before asking a guy on a date and it isn't that hard to expect the same.
Oh and BTW Chris is totally making up for yesterday. He set Nikki up on a blind date and we are doubling again. We are going to this one place to learn how to make our own pizza's and then after we are going and watching "How To Train Your Dragon"!!!!!!! That is how you plan a date people!
Laters my gators,
Becky

Valentine's Schmalentines...
I think Valentine's Day is the biggest joke ever. Seriosuly who knows the history of it anyways? I mean seriously Not many people know the story of St. Valentine and what he did for people.
Now Becky is trying to get me to go on some date with some random guy and celebrate the fact that instead of getting married soon I am single and covered in bruises. No amount of candy message hearts and paper Valentines is going to make me look forward to going back to the Single's Branch and facing the dating world again. I think it is too soon. I know Jess wants me to get out of the hospital and I know that everyone wants me to keep moving forward, but I can I please just have some time to myself without guys?
I am going to disappear to Temple Square for awhile and just enjoy myself. Hang with the missionaries and with my biggest greatest brother ever Jesus Christ! He has been a big help lately and I know I need to spend some one on one time with Him and Our Father. I just might hit up the Joseph Smith Movie as well. I haven't been alone on my own since the fight and I think everyone is trying to keep a close eye on me. I am really struggling right now and at times it is hard to breathe.
No I am not suicidal or anything I just am feeling really horrible right now. I had fallen and fallen hard you know? To end up where I am right now just....makes me really pissed at the adversary. I know he had a hand in this and I just want to punch him.
Love, Peace, and Chicken Grease,
Nikki

Valentine's Day!!!
My DEAREST readers!
Hello to you all from me, JESS!!!! Yes sadly I am having to write this all down on paper because the stinky doctors say that a laptop is not allowed into my room. :( But LUCKILY for me Becky is going to type the letter up EXACTLY as I write it on the paper.
I made her promise to do it. Anywhoo I am soooooo glad to be back and writing to all you loverly people. What isn't so loverly is that I am in a stinky hospital because of being too skinny for someone having TWINS!!!! I know right?! I just about peed my hospital gown when I found out! Derek and I are so EXCITED! We get a boy AND a girl in one shot! Holy Crap though I just realized we are going to need a bigger apartment because we could fit one baby barely, but now TWO babies are coming and oh my goodness that is going to be INSANE! TWO BABIES!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Needless to say that I pretty much think Heavenly Father is amazing for blessing us with two of His children at the same time.
So yeah Nikki basically is totally my hero. I was not there when she beat the living daylights out of that creep, but I did get to see a brilliant re-enactment from my husband and brothers. Let me tell you I for one HATE HATE HATE guys who hit women and second I HATE HATE HATE when men abuse the priesthood. Derek says that he will most likely be excommunicated or something. I say "Amen" to that! Any man who holds the priesthood knows better than to use it as some sort of holding power over another person, you can't use the priesthood to take away someone's agency. Ladies NEVER let some stupid guy boss you around just because he has the priesthood. If he does, he isn't worthy of it. Derek would never try to assert his authority over me without any room for compromise. Now he does lead and guide and make decisions that I don't question, but that is because when he is praying about something I am right there with him praying and we both discuss the impressions we received and what direction we think we should take. It is a partnership, NOT a dictatorship.
If ANY guy is making you feel like you are less than a Daughter of a King, he is NOT worth it. Let me repeat...NOT WORTH IT!
So what is everyone doing for Valentine's Day? Becky is trying to convince Nikki to go out on a double date with her. Becky got asked out by Nikki's elder who baptized her....not Mayson, but the other one. Snap I know his name, but I can't recall it! Anyways we are trying to get Nikki to go out and have a non committal type of date you know? Nothing serious, just to get her out of the hospital and into the world. She hasn't left since I have been in here! Derek brought her suitcase and brings her stuff and sh is basically living here with me until I get out. Derek has to work and so do my brothers, so Nikki has been staying here to keep me company. I love her dearly, but she needs to get out.
Well I should be home by Friday of this week. *fingers crossed* I am WAY WAY WAY excited and THRILLED that I am doing better. I love you all and I am touched by all of your support and concern for us. We think about you all daily and we love hearing from you!
*MUAH*
Loves and fluffs,
Jess
P.S. I am going to try and get some sonograms up here for you all to see!

Beauty From Pain
Hey all it is me Nikki. Now Becky told you all what happened with what's his face and everything. I was reading some comments and I pretty much decided that I was going to tell everyone how it went down and to give an update on Jess.
Well all of my family aren't members and they had been pretty upset that we were going to get married in the temple and that they couldn't be there. We talked and I said I wanted a ring ceremony and he totally agreed and we were planning on it, writing our own little vows and stuff and we were going to have Jess's dad talk about the importance of temple marriage. Now I am not sure how or why he changed his mind, but he got really mad when I brought it up to talk about what we were going to say and if we were going to make it as much like a regular wedding as possible. He went off about my family and how they don't deserve to even be a part of our wedding and how I wouldn't be able to talk to them and see them again. I told him to lay off my family and he started yelling at me telling me that he holds the priesthood and I have to listen to what he says. Okay first off you never say that to any woman and second we (as daughters of our Heavenly Father) do not have to follow a priesthood leader if they are leading us down paths that we are not comfortable with and thirdly my patriarchal blessing has some pretty strict man guidelines that he was breaking. When I told him that he went and hit me in the face! I looked at him in shock and said we were over and idk really why but he just lunged at me and was starting to hit me again so I hauled out and beat the crap out of him.
I have been in fights before (BEFORE I joined the church mind you) and growing up in an abusive household you learn how to defend yourself. I fight dirty if I have to but mainly I do self-defense stuff. Now I only have a few bruises here and there, but he has a broken arm, two black eyes, a fractured hip bone, and his left ankle is broken in too many places for the doctor's to count. All in all the fight lasted maybe ten minutes before we were found and pulled apart....well I was pulled off him. Derek and Jess's brothers came after Becky heard screaming and no one was answering the door. I have filed charges against him and I am not in any legal trouble since it was self-defense.
So there you all have it.
OH and we found out that Jess is having twins!!!!! Yeah all those tests they have been doing have revealed she has a boy and a girl growing in her! Apparently her low weight was causing premature labor or something like that. I think it also had to do with the fact that she has been sick as well. Not really sure but they said she should be fine from now on, but she will have doctor's visits every week just to make sure she is 100% We are all so excited for her and she is on cloud nine right now!
I want you all to know that even though I ended up not getting married and beating the crap out of my ex-fiance, I still know that not all guys are the same. There are decent and genuinely nice guys out there who won't try to dominate unworthily and who will consider you (and me) their greatest treasure. Yes there are creeps and jerks and guys who deserve what is coming to them, but we shouldn't judge against all of them based on the few a-holes (excuse the lanugage) out there. I have been praying a lot for understanding and for help through this. I know that Heavenly Father wants the best for me and that He doesn't want me to give up hope in all of this. It has been an experience since joining the church, not all of it good, but I still know that the Church is true and that I have a big brother and heavenly parents who loves me and are watching over me.
Don't lose hope or faith our dear readers. Keep smiling and remember that with darkness comes light. Always search for the good in the world.
Love, Peace, and Chicken Grease,
Nikki
P.S.- In reality though I am not as collected as this posting sounds, but with the support I am getting the burden of pain is not so heavy.

What the Fudge?
So basically we have all been MIA for awhile...soooo many things have happened. Oh and by the way this is Becky writing. I am not at my computer right now so I couldn't put up my lovely little icon. Anyways back to our lives. Well Nikki's engagement to Mr. Incredible fell through. Yeah she found out some rather not good things about him that apparently no one knew about and she had to break things off. Total and complete ruin is what she is in and the rest of us are in shock. Turns out Mr. Incredible has a mean streak in him. They got into a fight over whether to have a ring ceremony or not (Nikki wanted one for her non-member family) and some words were said and he hauled out and hit Nikki. She still has the bruises from it, but he will be in a wheelchair for awhile. Growing up Nikki was abused and she swore no one would hit her and get away with it again. Stupid Idiot found out too late that Nikki can hold her own and than some in a fight. She is taking a little break from writing right now but she will be back...probably by next week.
Anyways I have been up here in Idaho taking night classes and working. I finally got a job up here after what seemed like an eternity of jub hunting. Let me tell you that it sure is nice to be working and getting money! The dating situation hasn't really changed much. I am still single and too busy to even notice. I am learning to snowboard! How flipping cool is that?! Okay so I am a desert rat and I think snow is magical and I love it...get over it already! I have gotten pretty sick though with colds and coughs, but luckily for me my roommates are all pretty well paranoid about dying of sickness so they stock up on every kind of cold medicine possible! It has been a really busy time, especially lately. The most important thing going on right now for me is trying to keep our little group together. Nikki is in and out of it on a daily basis and she keeps disappearing into her mind and Jess is...well keep reading to find out.
Jess is still bed ridden. She almost lost the baby and had to be rushed to the hospital over the weekend. I am in the cafeteria right now of said hospital typing as Derek and Nikki eat the nasty hospital food. Blegh! We all were really worried about Jess and I drove down asap. Nikki was up here anyways visiting when it all went down. She just started having these sharp pains and was bleeding really bad and she passed out all of a sudden. Nikki and Derek rushed to the hospital and the next thing they knew there was billions of doctors and nurses running around attending to Jess and finally they were told that the baby and Jess were fine and that she would need to stay in the hospital under surveillance for two weeks. They don't know what happened, but they are trying to fatten her up because she had been losing weight instead of gaining it despite her healthy apetite. Jess is doing fine though and as soon as she can she will write, she promises. In fact I think she is writing in a notebook and then going to have me type it for her. Crazy woman that one is!
Our deepest apologies to our readers for not keeping up with our blog and facebook page. Life had been going so well for us and than suddenly it was like this huge dumping of horrible out of nowhere. Through it all though we have held on to our faith and each other. We hope that you all are alright and we send you are love.
Laters My Gators,
Becky

THE ENGAGEMENT OF EPIC PROPORTIONS!!!
Okay so here is how it allwent down and I have Becky to help me with the details I didn't really know about!
So on Christmas Day I went over to my Family's house to spend some time with them unwrapping gifts and eating Christmas Dinner, but Mr. Incredible came with me. Now I guess at ome point I was in the bathroom and my told my parents his intentions....no he didn't ask... he told them he was going to ask me to marry him. Now I when I found that out it made more sense as to why my family ignored him the rest of our stay, but at the time I though they just decided to be rude.
Anyways Saturday came around and He said he needed to go into Vegas and get some souveniers for his family because apparently his mom had told him to get her something special. Derek took him down as well as Papa Brinton (Jess's Dad) and they went Ring shopping and they were texting Becky and Jess pictures of options and they all decided on the ring together! All the while I am sitting there in Sherlock Holmes trying to figure outwhy my two best friends are ignoring Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. so rudely! The guys didn't get home til late so we all had dinner seperately, but we waited for them all to have Scriptures and Family Prayer. Mama Brinton went and was reading scriptures about love and marriage and than Derek said this prayer about opening our hearts to love. I looked over at Mr. Incredible all mortified because I knew somehow they were talking to us and all he did was shrug at me!
That Sunday we had gone to the Single's branch and than later to Branch Prayer. Normally the chairs are in a circle, but Becky and Jess called the Branch President and asked him to set it up in the shape of a heart.
Yeah we walked in and I started laughing at how the Branch Presidency was trying to get a message of dating and love across to the Branch...well jokes on me!
Before the prayer President went and said that he had very special announcement to make. He put his next phrase like this "One of our friends here is getting engaged in just a few moments. She doesn't know yet, but I thought I would just let you all know to prepare yourselves for whatever may happen." Now everyone started looking around at all the couples in the room trying to figure out what was happening. I turned to Becky and I noticed her not sitting but by the light swich and she was busting up laughing. Before I could say anything she yells out
"NOBODY MOVE!"
and rudely turns off the lights. The odd thing about me is that I really dislike the dark so naturally I froze solid and suddenly next to me there was something glowing. Turns ot Mr. Incredible had snuck in Glow Sticks and he cracked them, grabbed me, led me to the middle of the heart (well the glowsticks President had in his pocket indicated the middle), and than yelled
"TURN 'EM ON BECKY!"
Needless to say when the lights came on he was on one knee in front of me and everyone started busting up laughing at my face which was apparently super red. Anyways I said yes and than the Prayer was said and we all had the standard branch prayer treats.
All in all I really think it was brilliant and am just so happy to be marrying him. I can honestly say I love him and I am confident that Heavenly Father approves. I used to sit and wonder about if I was ever going to get married and I would always say I would never marry someone who I hadn't dated for a long time. Now I am one of those girls who meets a guy and gets engaged like shortly after. heck we've been on less than five dates, but I love his family and he loves my adopted family!
Oh and his mom totally loves how he got her a new daughter for Christmas, oh yes, she does!
Well there you have it. You can choose to believe or not, but I know that this is right and I couldn't be more ecstatic!
Love, Peace, and Chicken Grease,
Nikki

Love, Peace, and Chicken Grease,
Nikki
Holy Elopement!
Yeah way to go you two for completely deciding to do that and not even bother to tell me! But than again I guess that defeats the whole purpose of eloping. Hey random question. Is it possible o elope to a Temple? Like....nevermind that sounds dumb even as I was typing it.
Anyways I just got a call from Phil and this is how the conversation went.
*ring* (oh yes I am being accurate)
Me: Hello?
Phil: Nikki I am sorry to do this to you, but I am going to need you to sop planning the wedding.
Me: Oh what Phil? You get cold feet....again?
*riotous laughter from Becky and I because we found it clever*
Phil: No I did not. Would you stop laughing long enough for me to explain what happened? It is kind of important that you know this since Alexis is going to be relying on you girls to help her.
Me: SHE'S PREGNANT?! Phil you dog!
Phil: Oh for crying out loud it isn't that! You always assume the worst without giving anyone a cha-
*Insert Alexis taking phone*
Alexis: We got married Nikki!!!! It was Phil's idea and I went with it! My family was getting mad because they weren't going to be able to be in the Temple and you know how stressed I was getting. We plan to gt sealed, but like in a year or so once the initial shock wears off.
*stunned silence*
Alexis: Hello?....Nikki?....HELLOOOOOOO?! Phil I think she hung up!Me: No I am here...just...uh....yeah
*Insert Becky rudely grabing my phone*
Becky: CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! I am happy for you both...we BOTH are happy! and than the two of them were chatting on and on about how exciting and blah blah blah. Luckily Mr. Incredible walked into the room and reminded me of what I was going to be posting originally before Phil and Alexis went and totally one upped me.
*ahem*
I am getting married
Tis true and no joke I am legitimately engaged, with a ring and everything. Kinda crazy really and I still can't get over that fact, but yep for sure enough I am getting married to that an for time and all eternity. We don't have a date set yet, but we both are getting the feeling that June is going to be the month. He will be on Break by then and I will have settled some things that I need to get settled with my family and other stuff. BUT I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

Some Things About Us
So basically the three of us are spread out, but we all consider Nevada our numero uno place to live and visit. I am living in Orem, UT but Derek says it is Provo, but I like to think of it as the Borderlands since we ride the line. Becky is up in Rexburg learning herself at BYU-I (do) HAHAHAHA LOVE that joke!!!! Nikki on the other hand is busy bouncing from place to place wherever the wind stinking blows her. Currently she is residing at our parent's house. When I say our parents I mean MY parents house, but since we adopted Nikki unofficially and what not she is totally with family. Now we aren't really sure about letting people know who we are really because first we do have live and we prefer to keep them to the level of drama they are at....which is A LOT!
Well ANYWAYS I just got home from Christmas Vacation with my family and I could not be more happier to have spent SO MUCH time with them all! I got to talk to one of my brothers who is on his mission and than it seems like EVERYONE bought me some kind of baby clothes! Nikki and Becky though got Derek and I a board game!!!!!!!! I loves them for it because it was nice to get something NOT for my unborn child and actually for me. I don't care HOW selfish that sounds! See Nikki totally got....something amazing AND BOTH of her missionaries came to see her and give her the ultimate gift of a CTR ring...well ONE of the ultimate gifts hahaha...THAN Becky gets one of Nikki's Missionaries for Christmas! And all i got was baby clothes! BLAST!!! My mom was laughing at me for it and teasing me saying that now I am married I don't get awesome Christmas Presents like Guys all wrapped up anymore.
....little does she know that Derek is my wrapped up gift....that keeps on giving! NAUGHTY!
So a bit of advice people....when you get married....don't give your spouse what they NEED exactly unless it is something they WANT. Example: The Hubby got me a new phone because I wanted and needed a new one instead of the piece of junk I had been using. One of my married brothers got his wife new sheets because they needed them....although she didn't necessarily want them. See what I am saying? You gotta find the even between the two like my wonderful husband did. Sometimes you can do two gifts, like the sheets would have worked if he had gotten her something else like some jewelry or some cute pjs or whatever she would have liked! Girls the same applies to you.
USE YOUR HEADS PEOPLE!!!

So That Was Cool
Well so basically I have to apologize for everything with us not really posting and not really being on top of things. We were trying to have this orde of who posts when, but I am pretty sure it is now a free for all and an orgy of posting whenever we want, of course after I post this up. All of us are here together with our families celebrating Christmas. Of course we have a few extras as in, Mr. Incredible and Jess's unborn nub of a human being, but there is also someone else here whom none of us had even planned on. Well actually it is two someones.
The missionaries who taught and baptized Nikki are here! Of course they aren't missionaries anymore, but still they are here and let me tell you they are still as handsome as they were when they were misisonaries. I am not one to go around drooling over Elders, but those two made me blush just by being in the same room as me! Anyways I have been stuck by the two of them at ever function so far. Birk Mayson and Chris Donali are their names, but we just use their last names since they tend to not respond to their first names for some reason. Anyways Mayson has this girlfriend that he brought along so it has been Donali and I talking this whole time and it turns out he is a pretty interesting guy. His family is originally from Italy (on his mom's side) and he is afraid of ducks, but has no problems with geese. Yeah I remember the important stuff. But the coolest thing about him is that he bought Nikki a CTR Ring! Well he and Mayson did together. Forever after she gets baptized they go and buy her a nice CTR ring for Christmas and than plan this trip to meet up and than come and surprise her! She has become really close friends with both of them so it was just a beautiful moment when they were reunited.
I told Donali that Nikki was taken and he looked at me and said,"Well what about you?" Just like that he comes right out and asks me! My jaw just about dropped, but since we are all going to be here for a few more days or so I decided to go on a date with him. Turns out he is up in Rexburg as well so who knows what will happen.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas! Top Gift of today was this picture of Christ and this little girl in a garden that my mom got and framed for me for my apartment!
Laters my Gators,
Becky

Oh Mr. Incredible
Anyways like I said I have been praying and I have decided.....
......I honestly...AAGH! Becky isn't here to type out what I am trying to say like she would normally do when I myself can't do it so now I end up rambling and beating around the bush trying to ignore the fact that it is there without completely removing it from my sight!
Let us just say that perhaps the answer I have been recieving loud and clear has been really really really positive, like Heavenly Father is saying "GET ON THAT" but in a nicer and more sophisticated kind of way. Personally I don't think He would ever yell that to anyone. If I am wrong He will surely let me know after I have been twinkled.
I sometimes think about how other girls go through this process of praying and such. I haven't been a member for very long really and all the other girls in the ward seem to have this whole finding a guy thing down pat! I mean one girl got engaged after one week of dating and they ahve been happily married for a few years now. How does that happen? I am scared of moving too slow and moving too fast. How are we supposed to know the right speed? How are we supposed to know that we can marry a guy after only dating for one week or even a few years? Yes I do know that prayer has a lot to do with it, but how does one really truly know?
Jess says that she knew Derek was the one because when she met him she got this feeling like he was what had been missing her whole life. I get that feeling when I see one of those extra large Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in the gas station! To be completely honest here, which is kinda the whole point of this blog, I do feel that way about Mr. Incredible. I know I haven't really known him that long, but in that short amount of time I have been happier than any other time in my life, second to my baptism of course.
This is what scares me. What if I am actually falling for him? Can I really afford to give my heart out again? Seeing Phil and Alexis a lot has really put things into perspective for me. I was once in Alexis' shoes, planning a wedding and everything with Phil and I was happy and content, but I didn't feel like I do now just merely considering a relationship with Mr. Incredible. My head is all turned around right now, but all I know is that tomorrow when Becky comes down she is bringing me one big Christmas Present that I definitely plan on opening before Christmas.
Love, Peace, and Chicken Grease,
Nikki

What a JERKFACE!
I am most unhappy people. Some BUTT scratched my car when I was grocery shopping and they didn't leave ANY kind of apology or insurance info or NOTHING!
This happened a little while ago and I am NOW just getting to it...LAME! I feel like I haven't written a post in FOREVER which I know is true because Nikki called me and was like "Uh Jess....you are kinda holding up the blog with not posting...get with it woman!"
Rude Nikki...just R-U-D-E!!!!
Perhaps you should know that I am busy up here in the frozen tundra of Northern Utah preparing to come home to visit for Christmas and MAYBE just maybe I am busy trying to find your Christmas gift...now what do you say to that?! PSH! Tell me to get with it....you and your schedules are most likely why you are still sort of single....not counting Mr. Incredible yet seeing as he hasn't asked any crucial questions outside of asking you to pray. Any guy can do that you know! OH! So Derek wants to write something to you all...
HEY EVERYONE! I thought I would add this note that my wife is amazing. I know it is weird that she is married and on this blog, but I told her that when the other two girls get married that the title will have to change soon enough. Jess is off packing right now and she told me that I "had" to write something, but I tried to explain that people wouldn't really know if it was me or her typing. Obviously the woman doesn't really care what you all are going to think about who is writing this or not because here I am pasisng the time...okay so I should probably write something informative or useful on this thing instead of rambling.
Well this time of year Christmas is on the brain. Most of the time I tend to forget what Christmas is really about because I get so wrapped up in the idea of presents and the stresses that often come with the holiday. In reality though this is one of the times of the year where I should be more relaxed and joyful. Christ was born on Christmas Day. He came for us to show us the way back to our Heavenly Father. Think about it. Our big brother came to help us all out and to set the ultimate example, and instead of fully appreciating the time He came we all run around with greedy little thoughts about what we want for Christmas and seieng if we can outgift those around us! Okay not everyone does that, but mainly it is the people who are attempting to take Christ out of the season!!
Hey all thanks for being supportive of the girls..I would be saying more but Jess is back now and she wants the computer. She says I am pumping too much testosterone into the blog already and I haven't been here for five minutes. Merry Christmas everyone!
~Derek
Don't you just LOVE him?! That's right I get that EVERYDAY! HAHAHA He is a funny guy and can be a little........waaaaaaay into things. Don't EVER get him started on the "perfect" pizza as he calls it. We literally talked for like an hour one time about it....that is an hour I am NEVER getting back people! Anyways I have GOT to get back to packing for our trip. We are leaving for Nevada on Friday after he gets off of work. I am SO excited to be going back and seeing my girls and my family!
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

My Wedding..the basics
FLOWERS: Anything Purple Really because I want kinda just a wide variety of flowers. I like them all!
CAKE: Vanilla flavored with strawberry ganoche and a minty flavored fondant on the outside with sugar butterflies decorating it. INVITATIONS: See picture because it shows what I want
CENTERPIECES: Purple Flowers surrounded by white in a small and uncomplicated centerpiece.
DECORATIONS: Purple table cloths with white underneath to hide the ugly table legs. Soft lighting coming from candles (because I don't want a church hall reception) and string lights. Pictures of the couple splattered about the room.
FLOWERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CENTERPIECES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CAKE!!!
DECORATIONS!!!!!
INVITATIONS!!!!!!!!
Now For my next section it will be more like the hair and the dress and whatnot....I probably should go into more detail with everything, but I want to get an example up for everyone. Nikki and Jess will be doing better examples since they actually have planned weddings before.
HAIR!
SHOES!
VEIL and TIARA!!
THE DRESS!!!!
THE GARTER ;)!!!
Now this is Kind of what we are looking for...I did this in one day people...imagine what you can come up with in the time we have set out for you all!!! Like I said Jess and Nikki will be doing better detailed ones and I am pretty sure that Jess said she would most likely make my wedding over since she figured I would basically just do the basics hahaha. I have always banked on one of them planning my wedding for me lol so I can actually now kinda see what they would be doing in finding inspiration. Go out there and show us what you got!

Yay For Contests!
Who has got an awesome excitement for the contest?! I DO!!!!!!! Okay so let me refresh everyone's memory for those of you who aren't our friend on facebook.
1. You have until January , 2010 at midnight to plan an entire wedding.
2. You MUST post it either on facebook or on a blog. (We will be providing EXAMPLES so stay tuned)
3. You absolutely HAVE to be include everything from the flavor of the cake down to what the garter will look like. (guys you too!)
4. You NEED to let us know once it is all posted and done (early submissions are way welcomed)
Okay so basically the three of us would rather SHOW you all how it is done rather than TELL so really while I am posting this Becky is working on her wedding which will either be up tonight or tomorrow so keep an eye out for that okay???
OH! And the three of us will be picking our favorite so there will be three winners while the rest of you will not necessarily lose. As Nikki puts it...you will at least have an entire wedding planned for the future! Now for any guys doing this....think of this as insite into what we ladies have to go through when planning it. When it is your turn to get married you will maybe feel a bit more considerate in helping your lovely out yeah?
So I am going to tell you people that I think having anti-nausea medicine that has a side effect of nauseousness and vomiting is plain wrong. Nadia (one of our readers) told me about her pregnant friend having that problem and all I have to say is that I had morning sickness that bad and my medicine made it worse me and my unborn child would kick some doctor butt! Okay well Derek and I are going to watch "So I Married An Axe Murderer" and eat pizza!

WEDDING UPDATE
Well we all know Phil is getting married and I (Nikki) was asked to do flowers, but as it turns out I basically had a wedidng planned out (mine and Phil's) and I decided to be awesome as heck and let Alexis and Phil have the wedding I planned so now I ended up in charge of the whole thing because the girl has not a single planning bone in her body. Now I love planning things and being in charge and especially getting to be creative. Now I was told not to worry about money because apparently it is not an object to worry about so I have free reign!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!! Talk about exciting! Becky and Jess basically think that Phil and Aleixs have no idea what they have done asking me to take care of it for them. Now I am going to be posting pics of general ideas that have been approved. I am excited because I am thrifty and have found cheap kinda things for them and ideas since really I don't want to be rude and spend a bunch of money on a wedding that isn't mine.
The wedding colors are Blue and Green so that will be the theme here.
The Bouquet options:
The Floral Ideas
(in green and blue of course)
The reception Idea...we really like this layout. In their colors of course.
Alexis really likes the Pomander theme and quite frankly so do I...it isn't typical and it is easy to keep if you use silk flowers. Anyways we were thinking of hanging these from the ceilings with lights in them for the lighting as shown in the below picture.
and now my favorite part CAKES!!!! (We each chose one that we liked. I chose the second one, Alexis the first, and Phil the third)
Well that is all for now since that is a whole lot to digest...okay maybe so I am just weddinged out for today and I need to go to sleep to get up early tomorrow to go christmas shopping and jobbing. Anyways Hope you all enjoy and I will be posting more ideas later like invitations and what not. Nite all!
Love, peace, and chicken grease,
Nikki

Updated blogginess
Since my being maimed a few weeks ago I basically have no life and can't move around much so what did I get to do today??? I got to fix up the blog and make it all Christmas like! Yay for me! Took me forever to finally decide on what to leave it as and as a result I am up late as usual writing a post. Today was fairly intruiging with watching the First Presidency Christmas Devotional and hearing what the Prophet had to say. I love being able to watch it on the tv or online, which in my case it was online, because towards the end my family invited me to dinner and I had to pause it and go eat. So glad I didn't miss anything. Was it just me or did they really stress the point in finding the love of Christ for others? Also they told us to stop being so darn distracted and start finding the spirit of Christmas which is actually the Spirit of Christ. Nifty huh? Helping Jess's family get ready for "Mr. Incredible" is really tough because the room he is staying in is upstairs and seeing as I can barely manage to walk I am downstairs a whole lot.
I should probably explain to everyone why I am not at work and haven't been working, well besides my injuries. Well see they said I could ahve my job back you know? But I actually ended up quitting. Yeah my boss is nice and so is my supervisor but there is this creep at work who is always being inappropriate. now most people would fire him but noooo he happens to be my boss' nephew! Yeah so I just told them that I had enough and since they weren't going to fix him I was leaving. Luckily for me I have been saving up a ton of money and I also am really cheap and I don't spend a lot. I am at Jess' parents' house because they basically demanded I needed to come with them during this hard time. I am not a freeloader by nature so I have been trying to help out as much as possible...mainly by cooking and cleaning which helps me not feel guilty. So there you all have it. I am currently jobless. Tis a sad day my friends but I am hoping my joblessness will be ended soon.
Anyways back to the important stuff. I am back in the old single's branch out here and let me tell you it is depressing beyond all belief. Everyone I used to hang out with is either on a mission or getting married or already married or plain just not here. These new people are not very fun and they don't seem to appreciate a good joke in Sunday School. Luckily for me the same branch presidency is there so they are my buddies for now until I am able to get these others to relax. Living in a small town is no fun sometimes when the people in your branch are sticks in the mud and can't have a conversation unless it is going over the list of unavailables and how they are so sick of the valley people and how the dating pool is small even though they have only dated maybe one or two of the available people. Really they won't even go on courtesy dates with those they don't find attractive!
Sometimes I really just want to scream. Oh! I totally ran into Mr. Clean and he was saying how he can't wait for Becky to come to town once school gets out! Mr. Incredible is excited too although I am not going to say what he has been saying because that is strictly between us. One thing I will say though is that he has asked me to pray about "us" and we will be doing that together next sunday because he forgot to ask me to do that for today so lucky us we get two fast sundays in a row. Although I am not really sure what he wants me to pray about exactly other than the standard "Should I date this person?" He said he will call me as Sunday gets closer to tell me more because apparently he has to pray about what he wants me to pray about. Confusing child.
Time flies on the wings of lightning. Another year has gone by and so much has happened. Here's to a Happy Christmas to us all!

Busy Productiveness
Today I got the rare chance to actually get some housework done. Derek tries to clean up when he is between work and school and usually I try to as well, but neither of us have had the chance to get some actual work done on the apartment. I managed to do two loads of dishes AND laundry, scrub the bathtub REALLY REALLY HARD, and I cooked a delicious meal that was both nutritional and would make anyone's tummy smile! I also cleaned our bedroom and was able to FINALLY put up some pictures we had framed FOREVER ago!!! Boy was Derek surprised to come home from school to the apartment looking like we just moved in!!!!! I even vaccumed which both Becky and Nikki can testify to how I LOATHE that chore!
So I decided to share my simple dinner recipe with you all seeing as I found it brilliantly wonderful and even NIKKI the grand master cook said it was a good combination!!! SURPRISED I was totally surprised at that. ANYWAYS here it is!
Noodles (it doesn't matter what kind cuz I just grabbed mac and cheese ones)
Turkey (cut into bite sized pieces)
Cream Cheese
Butter
Salt
Pepper
Mrs. Dash spice flakes
Cook the noodles til softy and yummy, add large dollop of butter and sizeable chunk of cream cheese and stir til both are melted completely, add liberal amounts of salt, pepper, and Mrs. Dash, THAN you add the turkey and mix it all together!!! It seriously took less than 15 minutes to make cuz I let the noodles get REALLY soft.
TADA you totally have an amazing meal that you can impress ANYONE with! THink of the versatility! You can substitute the turkey with anything really and still take it to Ward parties with PRIDE! I will even go as far as to say you can impress guys with it and even potential in-laws! FOOD is the answer to everything really. And guys don't leave the cooking just to the girls! I mean really eventually she is not going to always be around and you might find yourself one night without your wife to cooka nd no leftovers to heat up! *gasp* what to do, what to do!
Okay so Derek says I need to also point out that marriage is about TEAMWORK....that although it may be nice to split up the who does what, it is a whole lot easier to help each other out in EVERY task even those that are undesirable...like helping unclog the bathroom sink....
Can someone tell him that pregnant women should not be allowed near the toxic bathroom gases that are leaking out from the murky waters in our bathroom sink? I love him but sometimes I just want to pout angrily at him. Than I remember he is the father of our child AND I am kinda sealed to him FOREVER...*sigh*

Some People's Kids
So As Nikki said in the last post I had to leave tonight ( or this morning depending on where you are) in order to get back home in time for school. My roommates called me before I left for the airport and they said they got one of our FHE brothers to come pick me up from the airport since the one roomie with a car...well her car is actually now dead in the parking lot. So anyways I was totally fine with it because the guy (who we will call Mr. French) is cute, funny, and an RM so no awkwardness of a premie (pre missionary). My plane landed and I turned on my phone and I saw I had a message from him telling me he would meet me by the luggage carousel, since I had checked my bag. I met him down there and Mr. French gave me a warm hug and picked up my bags and led me to his car. As we were driving from Idaho Falls he asked if it would be okay if we went and got something to eat and he even offered to buy so heck yeah I was all for free food! We went to a McDonald's since that was the first place we saw and we both like their fries. He asked me how my week was and I returned the question. Apparently he went to his parent's house just like everyone else (except he didn't have a date with Mr. Clean ;D ) and he listened to my week and was extremely inquisitive as to whether Mr. Clean and I were a current item. Boy was he thrilled when I explained that we weren't. After Dinner he took me over to the Idaho Falls Temple and we were talking how it kinda looks like a Wedding Cake while the Provo Temple looks like a Birthday Cake when he suddenly grabbed my hand and we just kinda kept talking and walking like no big deal. Eventually both of our roommates started calling and texting asking where we were and what not like it was really their business...okay so maybe they thought we were in an accident or something happened, but did they have to keep texting once they found out we were okay?
...whatever...
well we got back into his car and were on our way to Rexburg when he pulled over to the side of the road and he just kinda of professed his feelings for me. His exact words were (and I kid you not) "I like you Becky....I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!" After he yelled "ANYMORE!" and before I could really even think about what just happened he grabbed my face and kissed me and than he stuck his tongue down my throat in this totally disgusting and uninvited kind of way. Talk about rude! That is why he is called Mr. French from now on. That peoples was my first kiss ever and it was not the best to be honest. You can't enjoy it when someone just kind of steals the kiss from you. I completely understand how some girls get mad when guys just take the kiss without even somehow asking for it. Not only did I not really want to kiss him, he wasn't even that great of a kisser! I mean really I should not be able to be going through a checklist of what I packed and what I left behind while a guy is kissing me. Don't get me wrong, I am not one of those girls who dreams up the perfect scenario for the perfect first kiss, but I always kinda imagined I would at least get to choose who I kissed you know?
I obviously didn't kiss him back and he eventually stopped and continued driving and I made sure my hands were out reach and I tried to seem distant or uncomfortable, but he pretty much didn't get the hint because he rested his free hand on my leg and was rubbing his thumb along it. I mean his hand was down by my knee but talk about awkward. He even walked me to my apartment door when he dropped me off even though I insisted that he should go home since my apartment was literally curbside and I didn't need the help. We had one of those awkward one armed hugs, but he still somehow managed to kiss my forehead. My roommates call that last kiss "Marking the Territory" like now I have some kind of "Property of Mr. French" stamp on my forehead only visible to guys who might be interested. I am completely unaware of what to do. Of course I am going to tell him how I feel, but oh my word I have to see him every week for FHE and at basically every activity I go to!! Something tells me he isn't one to get the hint very easily...even if it is dancing naked in front of him. Okay maybe not naked but in a very obvious manner.
On another note Mr. Clean and I are just kinda in the air right now. The date we had was pretty fun. He took me to go golfing in the desert. He painted golf balls with glow in the dark paint and we hit them out into the desert and ate while the sun set than we got to see where they all went once the paint kicked in. It was pretty fun and I have to say that while we didn't kiss or anything it was pretty romantic and we held hands and cuddled together while watching the last rays of the sun disappear. He is an interesting prospect and I will get to see more of him when I go home in three weeks for Christmas Break and the Winter Semester since I don't have school than.

The Time Of My Life
I am finally with my girls after an amazing week with Mr. Incredible! We are set to go watch New Moon together tomorrow and afternoon since Becky absolutely must go back to Idaho tomorrow evening. :( Sad sad day my friends. But at least we will al be together for Christmas and even Mr. Incredible will be there!!!! I said it would be only fair that he come down with me since I went up with him to his parents. His mom was so ecstatic when I asked her if that would be okay. Seriously I think his parents really like me, because really they are letting me take their son whom I really have not known that long at Christmas time. I mean it was fine for me to go up on Thanksgiving since I wasn't going to spend it with my family anyways, but his family actually likes him and wants him there you know? Anyways I am excited because Jess's family is basically my adopted family and they sure are going to put Mr. Incredible to the test hahaha she has older and younger brothers and they are all super protective of the both of us girls. To be fair I gave him warning so he is preparing himself hahaha.
On another note I called Phil and congratulated him on his engagement. I didn't really say anything to him when he told me and I kind of just realized I sort of just disappeared on everyone back home...yeah luckily my boss understands and he didn't fire me or anything. In fact his exact words when I told him where I was were, "Nikki it is about time you had the time of your life." Seriously I think he watched too much Dirty Dancing or something recently! I even called Phil's little lover and told her I would be thrilled to help her out. I mean seriously I know how to throw a wedding together and why not rise above the situation and bestow some kindness upon her. It really isn't all her fault that Phil is a complete moron with how he runs his life.
This past week Mr. Incredible opened my heart and eyes to everything I was shutting myself away from. He helped me let go of my anger towards Phil and he even helped me open up to the possibilities of something more with him.
Ladies we can't let our past entirely dictate how we are going to live today. My bishop once told me that we have to remember but forget. Remember what we learned but forget ( or let go) of what we did to learn something. Well he was talking to me about a sin actually but it applies to everything yeah? Like if you burn your hand on the stove. Remember that hot stoves burn hands, but forget you actually were stupid enough to touch a hot stove. Does that make any sense? If I let the hand burning incident dictate my life I would never want to use a stove for fear of being burned a second time. Instead I remember what I learned and I go on using the stove acting as if I never did get burned. This was also the same Bishop who told me I should prepare for a mission but that he highly doubted I would last a year without getting married. Jokes on you! I lasted the year with a whole half of another! In your face! Okay so I almost got married, but almost doesn't count.
Love, Peace, and Chicken Grease,
Nikki
P.S.- I just have to say that Mr. Incredible and I have yet to have a DTR, but we are still trying to feel the situation out.

So So Thankful!
I, Nikki, am thankful for my family, my friends (new and old), and my faith. For without those three things I would be nothing! I am Thankful for the experiences that Heavenly Father has given to me this past year and I am thankful gor the ones that are definitely headed my way. I am thankful to be alive and to be living on this Earth at this time. I am Thankful for the missionaries who found me and baptized me, and even though they aren't members and can be a huge pain to me I love love love my family and am so very much thankful that they are a part of my life.
...Also I am thankful for my own Mr. Incredible for living up to his name and totally rescuing me. Also I am thankful for his family because they have done nothing but be family to me and take me in.
I, Becky, am pretty much grateful for everything in my life. My mom and sister who have welcomed me home for this week with open arms, the awesome people in the Single's Ward who keep asking me to come back home, Mr. Clean who has been showing me a good time and showing me that our small town is actually a ton of fun, and most importantly this Church! I am so Thankful for my schooling, my job, my family, my friends, and just about anyone and everything. I am thrilled to be a part of this life and to have all the adventures that can be had!
I, Jess, am THANKFUL for my husband and our little one on the way! I am THANKFUL for my family (Nikki and Becky included) and all the support I recieve from them. I am THANKFUL for the ladies in the Relief Society for ALWAYS giving me tips and advice about being pregnant and I am also THANKFUL for my Heavenly Father bringing me to this point in my life where I am just filled with SHEER BLISS!!!!!!!! I am grateful for the blessings of the Temple and for the wonderful journeys that bring us all closer to Him!
We, The Girls, are ecstatic and excited about being a part of this blog! We are grateful for all of you who read our blog and have commented on our posts. We are thankful for the fact that people out there actually want to see what we have to say, even if it is kind of pointless at times. The three of us are all equally grateful to be a part of each other's lives and for the friendship and support we provide each other!!!!!!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!!
